A neighborhood grocery with a deli counter and a wall of craft beer.
4 Seasons Food Market calls itself a full-service grocery store and deli. The shelves hold groceries, snacks and drinks, the deli counter cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner to eat in or take out, and the menu promises more than 100 craft beers, by the six-pack or mixed and matched. The 4 Seasons name has Center City roots: the Kim family also ran 4 Seasons Food Court on Chestnut Street, across from Liberty Place, where the salad bar fed thousands. In 2019 the Inquirer found the owners’ son, James Kim, running the family’s market on 21st Street.

The menu
Breakfast on any roll, Boar’s Head hoagies and a bulgogi cheesesteak.
Egg and cheese comes on a bagel, croissant, kaiser or hoagie roll, with anything from turkey bacon to pork roll and scrapple, and the breakfast platters come with home fries or hash browns. Every cold sandwich is made with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, the tuna, chicken and egg salads are made in house, and the hot side runs from Reubens and melts to cheesesteaks and burgers. Then come the house specials: the 4 Seasons Hoagie with grilled chicken, salsa and guacamole, a Korean bulgogi cheesesteak, and the Hungry Steak, a cheesesteak with bacon and mozzarella sticks.
