A family beer store on 11th Street since 1984.
Husband and wife Marinos and Olimpia Fetfatzes founded Bella Vista in 1984 as a mom-and-pop beer store in South Philadelphia. Over the years it also grew into a craft-beer wholesaler, bringing breweries from across the country to Philadelphia, and in 2008 the store moved across 11th Street into the bigger building it calls home today. Now the 8,000-square-foot showroom holds thousands of beers, ciders, meads, hard seltzers and ready-to-drink cocktails, from local craft favorites to hard-to-find imports. Its mascot is Gary, a white cat who came in off the Philadelphia streets to become the beer store cat.
“…we love our locals. We support them in our retail store.”Jordan Fetfatzes of Bella Vista, on local breweries, to BeerPulse, 2011
