The Poke Burri Philly team · 10th St and Powelton Ave, Philadelphia

Atlanta-born · Philly since 2021
The viral poke shop, at home on 10th St and in University City.
Seven Chan and Ken Yu opened the first Poke Burri in an East Atlanta food hall in October 2016, and its sushi donuts and sushi pizza have gone viral more than once. Poke Burri Philly opened at 255 S 10th St in February 2021, sharing the space with its ramen sister, Lifting Noodles, under murals of lucky cats, Mount Fuji and a great wave. That year Hypebeast filmed the team making an “everything” sushi donut for the first episode of its BLENDED series, and 6abc’s Localish called the sushi donuts, pizza and burritos “out of this world.” A second Philly store has since opened at 3231 Powelton Ave in University City.
“We always want to be that cool, local, special place.”Seven Chan, Poke Burri’s co-founder, to ABC Action News
